In order to promote the tourism of Indigenous Peoples and create the brand image of utan’e Ho mimimiyo, the Council of Indigenous Peoples had planned four major themes in the 2019 ITF, including “Tribal Craft Feast”, “Fun Tour between Mountains and Seas”, “Nature’s Refrigerator” and “Seasonal Tourism”. The Council invited Culture Development Center of Indigenous Peoples, Yilan County Datong Township Tourism and Leisure Industry Development Association, Ainan’ao Ecotourism Development Association of Yilan County, Nashan Nagu Co., Ltd., Hualien County Zhuoxi Village Gufeng Community Development Association, Bagao Tea Garden Association, Chiayi County Alishan Village Chashan Community Development Association, Hualien County Fengbin Village Jingpu Community Association, Hsinchu County Naluo Leisure Agriculture Development Association, Pingtung County Tjukuvulj Coffee Production Cooperative, Ren’ai Village Meiyuan Tribe Tourism & Industrial Culture Association and Ubake Art Space to IFT and share their funny and homelike tribal tourism.
The “Tribal Craft Feast” started from the tribal crafts. The beautiful traditional crafts of the Indigenous Peoples were the most precious treasures. We invited the people to know the traditional wisdom of the tribe, make DIY by hand, and immerse in the cultural feast; “Fun Tour between Mountains and Seas” was based on dynamic travel, tourists could away from the hustle and bustle into the indigenous countryside, breathe fresh air in the mountains, wander along the beach to listen to the sound of waves, shuttle between mountains and sea to enjoy the beautiful scenery for a moment of rest; “Nature’s Refrigerator” was based on the raw materials of the Indigenous Peoples, and the Indigenous Peoples was self-sufficient. They went up the mountain to hunt and fish in the sea. Nature was the most natural refrigerator of the tribe. It would take you to know the food materials of the tribe and the harmonious relationship between the tribe and the land; “Seasonal Limit” was a seasonal tour with traditional festivals, ecology, culture and other characteristics. It provided a whole year’s tribal tourism strategy. You would know everything about the seasonal tourism!
In addition to introducing the four thematic tribal tourism, the exhibition also planned limited gifts, rich activities, stage performances, DIY experiences, lovely Tribal Eagle and his mysterious friends, and the champion team Secret Expedition of 2019 “HO-Hai-Yan” would also meet with you to share the beauty of the tribe! In addition, in 2019, tribal travel would expand the autumn and winter tours of national tourism. For group tours, where tribal tours were arranged through travel agencies, each person could enjoy a maximum subsidy of NT $500 per day; For self-service passengers who use discount coupons or mobile payment to the stores certified by the Council, they could enjoy a discount of NT $500 at most.
