The Council of Indigenous Peoples participated in the Taipei Tourism Expo this year (2025), which was held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from May 23 to May 26. The Council of Indigenous Peoples set up a special themed "Tribal Classic Tours" exhibition (Booth No. B826) and launched 33 tribal tours covering cultural heritage and natural scenery. It sincerely invites local and foreign tourists to pay a visit to indigenous townships and embark on an in-depth cultural journey that combines the beautiful views of the mountains and sea with the wisdom of indigenous peoples.

To further promote tribal tourism, the Council of Indigenous Peoples collaborated with travel agencies all over Taiwan to launch in-depth tribal tours island-wide. Through the professional channels and marketing resources of travel agencies, more people can experience the abundant and diverse cultural features of indigenous peoples in person. Tourists can visit Uninang Tribe to enjoy a "Hunter Starry Night Dinner", tasting Bunun delicacies underneath the stars, go to Lalekeleke Tribe to walk through the hundred-year-old Jinshuiying National Trail and learn the Paiwan's wisdom of Balhiu (stone slab house) construction, or visit Dowmung Tribe (Meqmegi) to experience the farming life and traditional weaving crafts of the Truku.

The Council of Indigenous Peoples aims to widen the scale of tribal tourism. It invites the public to "Tour to understand culture and trave to feel things for yourself", exploring the diverse and charming cultural features of Taiwan's indigenous peoples. During the exhibition period, the Council sincerely invited the general public to take a tour and experience the charm of indigenous peoples' homelands in person. The exhibition featured an interactive area and travel discount information for visitors to learn more about the package tours launched by the Council in collaboration with travel agencies. The Council welcomed the public to visit the "Tribal Classic Tour" booth (No. B826) at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from May 23 to May 26 to experience the cultural charm of Taiwan's indigenous peoples in person.
